Sea & Sun Camp

The Sea and Sun Camp is held in May each year. It is designed to educate and challenge blind and visually impaired children while providing a fun retreat for campers with their peers.

Diabetes Awareness

The Diabetes Program strives to educate the public regarding the nation’s number three killer, diabetes while stressing the need for early detection. The committee also oversees Destiny’s Camp, a camp for children diagnosed with diabetes.

Sight Screening

The Sight Screening Committee coordinates screenings across the state. Working with local Lions Clubs, most screenings are conducted in local schools. Lions screen for visual acuity and if they detect an issue will refer the student to a local doctor.
