1. Mission and Focus.

At the heart of the Lions Clubs of Mississippi’s efforts lies a mission to tackle diabetes, a significant cause of death nationwide. Their strategy centers on two crucial fronts: education to increase awareness and early detection to catch the condition in its early stages.

2. Providing Scholarships for Diabetes Camps

One new focus of the Lions Diabetes Awareness Committee is to raise funds for students with diabetes so that they may attend camps that are specially designed to meet their needs while experiencing fun filled activities.
