Lions of Mississippi – WE SERVE!

elen Keller challenged the Lions of the world to become “Knights of the Blind” at their International Convention in Chicago in 1925. Since then, Lions Clubs International has grown to become the world’s largest service organization,

There are Lions Clubs all over the state of Mississippi. In fact, it’s not unusual to find yourself being welcomed by a Lions Club logo when traveling to or through most of the communities in the Magnolia State.

Lions are recognized as leaders in their local communities providing opportunities and services for many individuals in their area.

Lions are the men and women wearing gold and purple vests working hard to raise funds for a child who needs glasses or giving a blind man a second chance to see by providing a sight saving operation.

REGISTER for the STATE CONVENTION!

APRIL 25-26,2024, in Batesville, MS

The Lions sponsor youth leadership programs, visit the elderly in nursing homes, collect used eyeglasses and sponsor the famous Lions All-State Band.

The Lions cook pancakes and pork rinds, hamburgers and hotdogs so they can support our troops by sending care packages.

The Lions encourage diversity in membership and the Lions encourage you to become a part of the “Pride of your Community”.
